Nice Job. Proof that there’s usually no need to go further than wordpress.
I’m into internet biz myself and my only comment would be that the flash pictures, while impressive, aren’t what I’d put on the first page – not if you’re aiming for the personal, handcrafted image which I’m guessing you would be.
I’d have some nice, honest writing from your girlfriend on the landing page, and keep the slideshow as something for the user to discover.
But these things are tough so who knows? You could do A/B testing if you wanted to spend more time on it if only just to learn from it.
